Summary of Job

RegDev, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Payable Consultant to join our Finance and Accounting team.  Potential contract to hire after 3-6 months. This role will be responsible for invoicing, timesheet management, and general accounting support in a fast paced and collaborative work environment. This individual will work cross functionally across many departments on all payable and receivable disputes and ensure accurate and timely processing of cash applications to payables, receivables, adhering to all deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitors customer accounts and performs in depth account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies because of billing, payments, credit memo, or other adjustments.
  • Performs general ledger account reconciliations of accounts payable and receivable and other assigned accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Completes monthly accounts receivable roll-forward analysis.
  • Assists and supports the AP and AR activities.
  • Reviews and processes account adjustments, write offs, customer reconciliations and credit memos.
  • Ensures all policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Works on ad hoc projects such as audit support, month end tasks and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements and Education

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
  • Relevant A/P and A/R experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Prefer A/P and A/R experience in the CRO/Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and balance multiple workload demands.
  • Strong ability to build cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively with other groups.
  • Prioritizes tasks according to business objectives and can pursue several objectives simultaneously.
  • Can work independently with a high degree of self-motivation. Proactively seeks out guidance from management when needed.

  • Company is virtual, consultant expected work remotely.

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time, handling, feeling with hands, reaching with arms.
  • Regular communication (hearing/speaking).
  • Lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Routine home  including computer keyboard use.
  • Vision requirements include close vision and ability to focus.
  • Noise conditions range from quiet to moderate – home office conditions variable.
