San Diego, April 29, 2023 – In line with our dedication to social responsibility and community welfare, the RegDev team united for an important cause: PanCAN’s PurpleStride Walk to combat pancreatic cancer. Witnessing the overwhelming turnout in support of pancreatic cancer research was truly inspiring.

With a focus on local action to create nationwide impact, the PanCAN PurpleStride walk mobilizes individuals to raise funds for pancreatic cancer research. Across nearly 60 events nationwide, survivors, families, caregivers, researchers, and supporters come together to honor those affected by the disease, making it a day of celebration for survivors and remembrance for those lost.

Pancreatic cancer, characterized by the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the pancreas, presents as either exocrine or neuroendocrine tumors, each responding differently to treatments. As the 10th most diagnosed cancer in the U.S., it affects approximately 64,000 Americans annually, with 175 new diagnoses each day. While its exact causes remain elusive, factors like inherited mutations, environmental exposures such as smoking, and obesity contribute to its occurrence.
