San Diego, Q4 2023 – RegDev holds as part of its mission and values a commitment to giving back to our community. Every quarter our company comes together for an event or activity with a charitable focus. For the last quarter of 2023 we chose to work with the Helen Wood Animal Center, a local San Diego animal shelter that provides educational and therapeutic programs for people, as well as humane care and adoption for homeless animals. To ensure our entire national and global team could participate, we also set up a virtual component to the event. 

The purpose of the event was to handmake toys and blankets for all the pets in the shelter. The team was given instructions on what the various animals might need and how to make the toys so that they were both safe and engaging for the animals. Thanks to our caring and motivated RegDev team members, we were able to donate boxes of blankets, beds, toys, bandanas, and treats.  

It has often been noted that the way we treat and interact with animals is often used as a barometer for how we treat and interact with our fellow humans. Our hope is that by focusing this volunteer event on animals we are helping to advance animal welfare while inspiring compassion and a more humane world.
