San Diego, February 20, 2023 – RegDev proudly announces its sponsorship of the SD Open 2023 Women’s Cricket Tournament, hosted by the San Diego Cricket Club Youth Academy (SDCCYA). This tournament marks a significant milestone as the inaugural women’s cricket tournament in San Diego, demonstrating RegDev’s commitment to fostering diversity in sporting opportunities for young girls in the region. 

The SDCCYA, a non-profit organization affiliated with the San Diego Cricket Club (SDCC), is dedicated to nurturing youth cricket talent and providing avenues for both boys and girls to learn, develop their skills, and enjoy the sport. Through initiatives like the SD Open, SDCCYA aims to offer competitive match experiences and tournament opportunities while imparting valuable life lessons to aspiring cricketers. The SD Open provides a platform for young girls to express themselves on the cricket field while playing alongside the finest women cricketers in the US. 

The sport of cricket has witnessed a notable rise in popularity across the United States, largely attributable to the increased participation of numerous immigrant communities.
